blog 1-Morning after the plane crash

I awoke to the sound of something strange. I couldn't deceiver what it was. It sounded like something, possibly a conch. Maybe, just maybe, there was other people on this island. Thoughts started running through my head. Maybe I'm not alone, should I go see what it was or maybe I shouldn't, It could be a scary animal. But first I have to get out of this jumble of leaves. I clamber out of the mess. I decided I should go to see if it was a conch. As I walked towards the sound, with the trees surrounding me. I started to quiver as I heard a sound from the bushes. "What was that?!" as the grating sound got closer and closer the bushes started to rattle louder and louder. THERE WAS A BOY! that means I'm not alone. He looked like he was eating something, well more like devouring it. I started walking towards the boy, thinking he might have heard the nose too. He just saw me and looked a little startled but then we just stared at each other like we were frozen in thought. I finally got the courage to ask him, "Did you hear that sound a little earlier?"
"Yes I did, that's what I'm looking for" as the little boy said with his mouth full.
"Me too!" I said with excitement. "Do you want to look for it together?".
"Yeah sure but we better go now because it's getting late" the boy said. We started to walk to where we thought the sound had come from earlier.
After walking for what felt like miles, we finally found the beach. I almost jumped with suprize when we found a group of people, sitting on the beach. In front of me there was almost every boy from the plane. They were shouting at two boys in the front, by the lagoon. Then a group of boys dressed in decorous outfits walked up. The boys were talking about who should be leader.
"I think it should be me!" Jack said vainly. Ralph interposed, "Who wants me to be leader?" the crowd rose to a clamor. When the boys went crazy for Ralph, Jack's face looked very pallor. I could see that piggy was filled with indignation when Ralph told Piggy he had to stay back in a strident tone. Ralph and Jack were speculating if we were on island or if anyone else was here.
I cheered for Ralph and I'm glad he's the leader. I think that Jack wouldn't be a good leader for us because I don't think he can handle all of these people.

I like the beginning of your story where the boy is pondering whether to go see what the noise was. It was very descriptive. I think you used indignation wrong though...
